DAMN WONDERFUL is a documentary celebrating the journey of self-love and self-worth of 6 young LGBTQP poets from New York City and Los Angeles. They come from various backgrounds and experiences, offering a visceral and honest look into some of the challenges and triumphs our youth are facing.

Corrina Bain is a gender nonconforming writer-performer, who lives in Brooklyn. He has worked in human services his whole adult life, including a year of volunteer work with the HIV/AIDS crisis in Mozambique. He has been on multiple poetry slam teams, and appeared on Finals Stage at the National Poetry Slam in 2004. He was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2009. He is a staff member at the louderARTS Project and teaches poetry workshops in New York City. Currently, he studies in a MSW program at Hunter College.
